Botox is an injectable prescription medication used to block the transmission of nerve impulses to the muscles.

Botox can be used to treat fine line and wrinkles, certain temporomandibular joint disorders, and muscle spasms.

How long do the results last?

Visible results may last up to 4 to 6 months. Individual results may vary. Be sure to discuss with your healthcare provider what you can expect.

Is the treatment painful?

A mild amount of discomfort may be experienced during the injections. Your healthcare provider may offer to numb the face prior to injection or perform the procedure under intravenous conscious sedation.
